For parents who want to worry less and play more!

Ah, Mother’s Day

Another Mother’s Day has come and gone. It’s funny, I’m not sure if I just set my expectations low this year or if I’m just worn out but the highlight of my day was sleeping in until 8:30 and having my family fix me breakfast in bed. In the past, my husband has always planned something rather big or maybe not big but scheduled. Last year it was the “Tug Boat” races on Puget Sound. The year before was brunch at the top of the Space Needle. All of these things lovely but again, scheduled.

This year was, other than my children’s constant arguing, was delightful. Nothing planned and no where to be. We all cooked dinner at home and played in the tent we set up on the back deck (getting ready for our first real camping trip.) My only regret is no pictures–really none which for me is pretty unusual. So I’ll share with you my last year’s extravaganza. Hope you all had a wonderful Mother’s Day. You deserve it!
