Just one more reason…

To support early learning.

Another in a series of brain studies comes to a remarkable conclusion - that children are born with a potential IQ range of 40 points, say between 80 and 120. From there, the child’s experiences in the first five years determine what IQ is ultimately developed. An IQ of 80 is considered low average while an IQ of 120 is considered superior.

There is obviously more at stake than 40 points. At stake is our children’s future. The start we give them is directly proportional to how they succeed. And I’m not talking about the kind of success that looks like Harvard. I’m talking about the kind of success that is measured by emotionally stable, socially apt, bright members of society who can help our culture evolve.
